MARRAKECH, YSL, & MAJORELLE

The blues & greens of Marrakech! A suffocatingly hot morning played out at Bahia palace, followed by a visit to the Jardins Majorelle, an oasis of calm amongst the motor-ridden dusty streets that surround it, a commanding display of lush greens & vibrant blues. The gardens were donated to the city by Yves Saint Laurent, their name given from the cobalt blue which then became known as "Majorelle".

Oh, & take a peek at the traditional breakfasts they serve in Morocco (our first Riad's is below) - bread & butter, cakes, fresh juices, & coffee - surely an awesome start to any day!

I wore a dress from Dorothy Perkins, sunglasses from Topshop, earrings & flip-flops from h&m.

I love how your dress mirrors the patterns in tiles!
