KENSINGTON CREAM TEA

Vintage-themed afternoon tea at The Pelham, South Kensington this weekend. Wearing almost entirely Miss Selfridge (boyfriend-coat, neon-panelled dress, booties), we sampled the lightest powdered scones with jam & clotted cream, fingers sandwiches with the crusts cut off, citrus macaroons & chocolate cheesecake…

(PS i totally blogger-failed & whilst i packed 2 lenses, i forgot my camera battery! all these photos were taken with my reliable iPhone!)

NEW PHOTO APP: A BEAUTIFUL MESS

If you follow Elsie & Emma's blog A Beautiful Mess, you will have known why the instagram interwebs were going crazy last night, with all the hashtag ABeautifulMess pics being posted! I couldn't recommend the app highly enough: it takes the scrapbook aesthetic & has created tools for border design, typology, doodles & filters. It will prettify up any picture!

Insta-Lately

 The snow came & went. We made a trip to Ikea (see striped bed blanket & pink/bat notepad as evidence), I bought some new (leopard print panelled) kicks from Topshop, ordered Madonna by Munch to hang as a canvas, made pizzas, & went for Sunday brunches.
