BARCELONA BABY!

..How I spent my New Year's break: sunny Spain, fresh seafood, garlic prawns, walks outside without freezing off one's extremities, Gaudi-tiled patterns, one unfinished cathedral, strolls in the port by the water, stone statues sitting side by side looking out into the sea.

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS

I found these photos whilst rummaging through my dropbox uploads, the sunshine of Cartagena (top 3 pics), followed by a recent pic of Barcelona over New Years. The tinted translucent pipes belonged to the opera house on Cartagena's port, a rather magnificent looking building that enclosed a mirrored walk-through passage..

FROM SPANISH CATS TO JAPANESE MINIATURES (UPDATE!)

I'm so behind on posting, on photo edits, I thought it best to just post a quick visual update of what I've been up to! From wading in Spanish waves, stroking stray cats, & coloured chicks in funfairs in Murcia, to the V&A in London, watching artists at work, & wearing my new (totally impulse buy) statement necklace from Primark :)

La Turista! Spain Through Words & Food...

Last night I travelled back in time to the Spanish civil war, the poems & prose of Neruda, Hemingway & Lorca. Morito's in Exmouth Market, in collaboration with theatre company Hobo, put on a rather fabulous evening of music, history, food & theatrics.
