ETHNIC CHIC : CAPSULE UNITED COLOURS OF BENETTON COLLECTION

Having only just got back from a Moroccan adventure myself, it seemed like the perfect breakfast meeting ever, an invitation to take a sneak peek at United Colours of Benetton's Ethnic Chic capsule collection for Spring/Summer 14, whisking me back to hot summer days, bustling souks, & colourful scarves.

A pretty fabulous platter was laid out by Momo Restaurant: cinnamon buns, donuts, Moroccan pastries, breads & jam sandwiches, topped off with sweet mint tea & fresh fruit juices every which way we turned!

I loved the t-shirts with jewelled decoration, they'd work great in making an everyday outfit a bit prettier, or matched with a stripy skirt or loose flowing trousers for summer. One of my favourite pieces was the sequinned scarf pictured below - so delicate but still subtle, I would wear it to a summer wedding, or just with jeans & t-shirt alike!

EDELINE LEE SS14

Earlier this week I was lucky enough to get to go to the Edeline Lee SS14 presentation (thanks Sophie!), particularly as it was one I missed during the hectic days of fashion week. The looks were showcased in a set of side-by-side white rooms, floating black balloons & bunting strung up from corner to corner. With the dulcet tones of an a cappella choral singer haunting the room, the girls drifted slowly & pensively amongst one another & we got to see the beautiful collection that was on show. Mint green sleeves with monochromatic check board drop-waist skirts in silk made up one look, whilst others were in soft grey, heavier dresses, pleated & with ikat blue & white designs breaking up the block colour. One thing I love about Edeline Lee is that the clothes are just so pretty & so wearable; I'll definitely be coming back for more next season!

RainbowWave SS14 press day this evening, held at the beautiful 29 Portland Place, showcased some beautiful, beautiful pieces. Like the dress with the beautiful bow at the nape of the neck - above, by L'Agence - or the delicate sleepwear by The Slee Shirt - below - along with the polaroid-lined red blazer by art/fashion enthusiasts Each x Other (PARIS), to the gorgeous, funky platforms by Carven. Want-It-All.

WOLVES OF LONDON SS14

Wolves of London held their recent press day for the Spring/Summer '14 collections in the most gorgeous townhouse on Dean Street this week, & it was the perfect setting for the whimsical, dreamy collections that hung on display.

I'm seriously in love with Orla Kiely this season - the Moonrise Kingdom, nostalgic LA girl dressed in a pink beret & off to explore the world & discover new things. A television resting on the floorboards played a rolling screen of Chateau Marmont, girls daydreaming about Ryan Gosling, set in a coming-of-age Wes Anderson styled tale:
