Jeffrey Michael S/S 2013: fantastic colours, prisms, drapes & touches of nature, set in the beautiful venue that is Goldsmiths' Hall. I loved the dresses with 3D cubist fronts, so stunning! The effect was also replicated in softer-print versions of the pattern, covering pale grey or grape dresses. The butterfly-sealed lips of one of the final models was genius: encompassed by nature, willingly surrendered.

Antipodium SS 2013: How To Affect Robots And Influence People

.

Antipodium S/S 13 continued the trend from this season's colour palette of black/tans/whites & neutrals, with accents of pale pink & peach. Menswear tailoring, delicate, neat collars, with trenchcoats & blouses, their hems pencilled in & pockets drawn on. Futuristic hairpieces completed the look with back-combed hair pulled around the structures. The collection was summarised in the opening of the press circulation as "fembots and futurism, hi-tech perfection and the construction of beauty.. technology and the body, aesthetic science and some rather sensual cyborgs". Enjoy.
